You're not behind. Digital marketing is a lot simpler than the internet makes it look.
If you've been watching video after video, it probably feels like everyone else knows some tool, some trick, some secret you missed. They don't. A digital marketing business comes down to three things.
1A storeOne place where someone can pay you. Start with one product people want, and add more as it sells.
2A pageOne page that says what it is, who it's for, what's inside and the price. One button.
3A postSomething that shows up in someone's feed, teaches them one thing, and points them to the page.
That's it. A store, a page and a post. Everything else in digital marketing is just doing those three a little better each week.
And you can start almost free. Claude, Canva and store builders like Systeme all have free plans, and your phone is your camera. What it really costs you is time and attention, not money.
How I started
When I started, I knew nothing about digital marketing. I built after work, at night, with whatever time was left.
I thought I was missing something. So I spent weeks collecting information. Another video, another course, another tool. And I finished almost nothing.
What finally moved things was boring. I wrote down the few things that had to exist, and I finished them one at a time, in order. A store. A page. A post. Then the next post.
That short list is the business that's made real sales. No team. No big budget. Just one thing finished, then the next.
If you're stuck right now, it's probably not because you don't know enough. It's because you have too many things open at once. Close everything except move one above.

Here's the honest part. The hardest step usually isn't the store or the page. It's having products good enough to put in them, and enough to post about every week.

Results aren't guaranteed. This plan gives you a starting point, and the work is still yours. What matters in digital marketing is consistency, effort and dedication.
